Seven apps. Same Mac Mini. Same electricity bill.

By now you know the drill. If the server is already running, every new app is free money. Today I’m adding the last bandwidth app to my stack: Repocket.

👉 New to bandwidth apps? Start with the proven earners in my stack first — then add Repocket to squeeze out extra income from the same server.

What is Repocket?

Repocket is a relatively new bandwidth sharing platform. Like the others, you share your unused internet connection and get paid.

How It’s Different

  • Newer platform — Less competition means potentially better rates
  • Growing network — More clients joining means more demand for bandwidth
  • Simple Docker setup — Email and API key, that’s all you need

Being newer isn’t always a disadvantage. Early adopters of Grass earned significantly more than people who joined later.

The Docker Setup

Step 1: Sign Up

Go to repocket.com and create an account.

Once registered, find your API Key in the dashboard settings.

Step 2: Run the Docker Container

docker run -d --restart=always \
  --name repocket \
  -e RP_EMAIL=YOUR_EMAIL \
  -e RP_API_KEY=YOUR_API_KEY \
  repocket/repocket

Replace:

  • YOUR_EMAIL — Your Repocket email
  • YOUR_API_KEY — Your API key from the dashboard

Step 3: Verify

1
docker ps | grep repocket

Check the Repocket dashboard — your device should appear within minutes.

Slightly higher RAM than some others, but well within reason for a 3.7 GB system.

The lowest earner in my stack. But Repocket is still young. Platforms like Honeygain also started small and grew over time.

The Complete Stack

With Repocket, my bandwidth app collection is complete:

Seven bandwidth apps and one storage node, all running on a single Mac Mini.

What’s Next?

The app stack is complete. From here, the strategy shifts to:

  1. Optimization — Keep uptime high, let Storj fill up
  2. Referrals — Every signup through my apps page earns recurring income
  3. Content — More guides mean more traffic mean more referrals
  4. Patience — Compound growth takes time
