The Storj Story
Storj is the slowest earner — but the most interesting one to watch.
This month I was paid out $0.42 with another $1.26 held in escrow. Storj holds 75% of all node earnings during the first 9 months as a deposit, so the real payout right now is intentionally tiny.
The drive itself tells the bigger story:

In one month the node went from nearly empty to almost half full. That’s huge. Storj rewards both stored data (held long-term) and egress traffic (when users download what’s on your node).
Once the 9-month hold period ends in October 2026, the held earnings release and monthly payouts jump significantly. The current $1.26 hold is a preview of what’s compounding in the background.
What’s Working
The Crypto Earners
Grass keeps dominating. 40K points this month, paid in $GRASS tokens on Solana. Token value fluctuates but consistently produces $25+/month equivalent.
Honeygain with JumpTask mode (10% bonus) is a steady $5-7/month earner. Reliable.
The Surprise Growers
Pawns.app jumped from $0.18 to $1.38. The bandwidth small earners are starting to add up.
EarnFM, Traffmonetizer, and PacketStream all grew 3-5x. Individually small, collectively meaningful.

Two months in, the Mac Mini is rock solid:

Still short of $5,000, but the trajectory is right. Storj’s hold release in October is the big unlock.

Organic search is starting to deliver. Posts are ranking on page 1 for queries like “make money with mac mini” and “grass.io earnings 2026”.
What I’m Doing Differently in Month 3
- Optimize meta titles — Done. Updated all top-performing posts with click-friendly titles based on actual search queries.
- Promote on Reddit and Twitter — Time to drive social traffic to the established content.
- Keep the schedule — More guides ranking = more referral surface area.
- Hold Grass tokens — Token price is up. Selling now would be premature.
- Stay hands-off on Storj — It’s working. Don’t break it.
The Lesson
Month 2 confirmed two things:
- Patience pays. Every app grew. Storj exploded once vetting completed. The compounding is real.
- No single app makes you rich. The stack matters. The blog matters. Referrals will matter most.
